SUPPLEMENTAL PROGRAM RESOURCES AVAILABLE

On the first day of autumn, September 22, the 2004 RENEW Writer’s Workshop was held on the eastern shore of Virginia. Nine women gathered to write materials for our next major release which will be titled, “Offering Jesus.” This resource will be ready for distribution by the first of next year.

In the meantime, several program resources were submitted to RENEW for consideration. Eight programs have been edited and put into a user-friendly format. These programs are now available for your use. You may request them by using the enclosed order form. Along with the programs we will include a listing of additional resources from our “Inspiring Models for Effective Women’s Ministry” notebook.

If you are needing supplemental program resources for your UMW or women’s ministry group, send for these programs—and, be watching for the January release of our “Offering Jesus” program book.

CHRIST OUR MEDIATOR

There is one God and those who do not have him through the one Mediator do not have God. We could not rejoice that there is a God if we did not have a Mediator, one who stands between God and us to reconcile us to God and to transact this whole affair called salvation. This excludes all other mediators, like saints and angels and idols. Heathen peoples, a long time ago, set up many mediators to pacify their gods.”

Upon The New Testament, 1754
