Jesus Didn't Teach Us To Juggle
In a great article entitled, the author begins with an interesting premise that Jesus didn't speak directly about the work/life balance. There are no verses that speak about being away from kids on business trips and working overtime. He concludes that maybe it's because in the ancient world, work life and family were so integrated and many times they co-existed together. It wasn't until the industrial revolution that people worked outside the home. The article offers scriptural insight into the need for work/life balace and that everything we do should be "in the name of Jesus, with integrity, and a sense of Christian service".
