Dee Brestin
Dee Brestin became known as a young woman when her first book The Friendships of Women was released in 1988. The book became a classic and has sold over a million copies. For twenty-five years, Dee has profoundly impacted the hearts of women through her internationally published Bible studies. She more recently has collaborated with recording artist Kathy Troccoli with a series of studies called Falling in Love with Jesus. Her new book, The God of All Comfort, will be released in August 2009. Dee feels it is the best work God has allowed her to do, springing out of her own grief journey after losing her beloved husband Steve, at the age of 59, to colon cancer.
Dee is a frequent quest on Focus on the Family and Moody Radio's Mid-Day Connection. She is a unique speaker who believes in helping women see the powerful truth of God's Word through teaching, music, and dramatic audio-visuals. Dee has received strong endorsements from Dr. James Dobson (Focus on the Family), Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, and Max Lucado.
The women's ministry of Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church in Augusta, Georgia, Women of the Vine, has had the privilege of hosting Dee as event speaker at their annual community women's event. Dee gave a powerful message on having a loving, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, our "kinsman redeemer".
The RENEW Network is proud to offer Dee's Bible studies and books and we highly recommend her materials and speaking talents to you. Her books and studies can be purchased at our e-store.
